Great podcast with Claire Yew from Golden Property Group who tells her story about her property investment journey back in her home country, Malaysia and here in the UK. I learn so much about how she has steadily built up her portfolio as she juggles her journey with raising 3 kids.
Talking to her made me realise how being intentional, decisive and taking action at the right time does bring good success in property. She gives really good insight into how she figured out her retirement plan and then reengineered backwards to start building a FIRE plan (Financial Independence, Retire Early) using property investing as her primary strategy. I really loved her practical approach about her experience and interesting challenges venturing into land development and sourcing below market value properties and working with investors.
It’s a really insightful listen with lots of golden nuggets about all aspects of property and juggling with family, kids etc.
We also got a little visit during the middle of our interview which was just priceless!
