Last week, I mentioned my need to find my voice in this matter that means so much to us as black people. In an article in the Guardian discussing financial inequalities in the UK, I came across an interesting stat… did you know only 20% of black people own their own homes in the UK? This is by far the most staggering thought when compared to other demographics whose percentages are much higher. It is so important for us to champion a change in the economic inequalities and look to really educate and bring up ourselves.
Today’s episode is a short one discussing the experiences black women have in the Property space – I’m joined by 2 women – Sade & Tope who joins in mid way to discuss some interesting insights into why there is a perceived set back with black people in Property but more so black women… good listen for sure!
