As part of the Black History Month, I’m excited to introduce Timi Phillips, CEO of Poised Concierge, a London luxury travel concierge company. She discusses her initial reluctance to get into entrepreneurship but how she’s grown and developed her business since then which focuses on providing concierge and property services to corporate clients and high net worth individuals.
She transitioned from full time employment 12 years ago and calls herself the reluctant entrepreneur as she found herself in business quite by chance and was able to get started with this business which I refer to as the Concierge Services company with a Property twist. She discovered that with this business model, she could generate a good solid clientele and this helped her build up a portfolio she manages within her business. She’s also been very systematic in the way she has implemented creative strategies to foster a rich working culture and gives great insight into running her business with virtual assistants.
